31st August:
Harris: A Rose-coloured Starling is at Scarista Mhor and has been seen intermittently there for the past 3 weeks.
30th August:
North Uist: 2 juvenile Ruff were on Baleshare today.
Benbecula: An Osprey was seen over Liniclate this morning.
29th August:
North Uist: 50+ Black-tailed Godwits were at Loch na Reivil, Hougharry; 40 were at Balranald and 6 were on Baleshare.
Barra: The Barred Warbler was still at Nask today.
Marine Sightings: Around 50 Common Dolphins and 20 Risso's Dolphins were seen off Tiumpan Head today.
28th August:
Barra: A Barred Warbler was at Nask this morning.
Marine Sightings: 11 Risso's Dolphins were off Tiiumpan Head in the afternoon.
27th August:
Lewis: 20 Sooty Shearwaters were seen from the Ullapool - Stornoway ferry.
26th August:
Benbecula: An Osprey flew south, to the east of Peter's Port at 16:00.
Barra: Presumably the same Osprey as off Benbecula was seen in Brevig this evening before it continued south.
Insects: Moths trapped in Loch Eynort lasy night included 2 Barred Chestnut, Acleris rhombana and Epinotia immundana.
Marine Sightings: A Sunfish was seen between St. Kilda and Harris today.
25th August:
Lewis: 2 Sooty Shearwaters flew past the Butt this morning.
St. Kilda: The female Snowy Owl is still on Hirta.
24th August:
Lewis: 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 20 Storm Petrels were seen from the Butt of Lewis this morning. A Canada Goose was seen near the Butt at Loch Stiapabhat.
South Uist: A Tree Sparrow was seen in Askernish.
Insects: A Dotted Rustic was caught at Ardvule last night.
Marine Sightings: A Fin Whale was reported as moving north past Tiumpan Head at 15:45.
23rd August:
Marine Sightings: 2 Humpback Whales, between 4 - 6 Minke Whales, over 100 Common Dolphins, 20 Risso's Dolphins and 40 - 50 Harbour Porpoise were off Tiumpan Head today.
22nd August:
Marine Sightings: Around 100 Common Dolphins and 20 Risso's Dolphins were off Tiumpan Head this morning.
21st August:
Benbecula: 13 Black-tailed Godwits were just inland of Stinky Bay.
Marine Sightings: Small numbers of Risso's Dolphins were seen heading south off Tiumpan Head this morning; also a distant Minke Whale to the west of there.
20th August:
North Uist: 42 Black-tailed Godwits were in a recently cut field by Loch Sandary.

19th August:
Ullapool - Stornoway: A Long-tailed Skua, 2 Pomarine Skuas, 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 20 Storm Petrels were seen from the ferry today.
Insects: 795 moths and 47 species were trapped in Carinish last night including a Barred Red, 2 Pink-barred Sallow, a Hedge Rustic and a Northern Deep Brown Dart amongst many others.

18th August:
Ullapool - Stornoway: A Long-tailed Skua, Pomarine Skua, Sooty Shearwater and 5 Storm Petrels were seen from the ferry today.
Benbecula: A Turtle Dove was seen at Balivanich airport.
South UIst: A juvenile Curlew Sandpiper was seen off Hebridean Jewellery at high tide.
16th August:
St. Kilda: The female Snowy Owl is still on Hirta.
North Uist: 13 Black-tailed Godwits were on Baleshare this afternoon.
South Uist: A juvenile Cuckoo and Whitethroat were in South Glendale.

15th August:
Barra: An adult Long-tailed Skua and 3 Sooty Shearwaters flew south past Aird a Chaolais, Vatersay in a 3 hour watch this afternoon.
Marine Sightings: Around 20 Risso's Dolphins and 4 Harbour Porpoise were off Tiumpan Head today.

14th August:
Marine Sightings: 2 Minke Whales and at least 6 Risso's Dolphins were off Tiumpan Head this morning.
13th August:
South Uist: A southerly passage at Ardvule this morning of 2 Red-throated Divers, 312 Gannets, 57 Fulmars, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 508 Manx Shearwaters, 4 Storm Petrels, 7 Black Guillemots, 2 Great Skuas, 10 Kittiwakes, 1 Common Scoter; also present 2 Whimbrel.
Barra: A Carrion Crow was at Allasdale. 2,600 Manx Shearwaters and 4 Sooty Shearwaters flew south off the west side of Vatersay early afternoon.

12th August:

North Uist: 5 Black-tailed Godwits were at Paible.
Benbecula: 20 Black-tailed Godwits were at Borve.
Barra: 3 Sooty Shearwaters flew south past Brevig in the afternoon.
11th August:
Benbecula: A juvenile Ruff was in Stinky Bay this morning.
South Uist: A Swift was at Ardivachar this morning.

10th August:
Lewis: A Leach's Petrel, immature Pomarine Skua, 4 Sooty Shearwaters and 10 Storm Petrels were reported from the Ullapool - Stornoway ferry today.
Marine Sightings: 2 Minke Whales and 20 Common Dolphins were seen off Tiumpan Head today. At least 4 Harbour Porpoise were off Balranald.
9th August:
Barra: A Honey Buzzard flew north over North Bay early morning.
Marine Sightings: 7 White-sided Dolphins (6 adults and a calf) were in Stonorway inner harbour this morning.
8th August:
South Uist: A female / juvenile Marsh Harrier flew south along the coast at Orosay at 15:10.
Marine Sightings: 12 Bottle-nosed Dolphins were off Orosay this afternoon. A pod of Bottle-nosed Dolphins were in Loch Euphort early afternoon.
Insects: A Peacock butterfly was at Cheese Bay and a Painted Lady was in Lochmaddy.

7th August:
Lewis: An Iceland Gull was reported at the Butt plus 2 Sooty Shearwaters flew past.
St. Kilda: The female Snowy Owl is still in Hirta.
North Uist: An immature Glaucous Gull was at Loch Sandary. 2 Green Sandpipers were at Claddach Vallay.

Barra: A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was at Cleat in the evening.

5th August:
Barra: A Cory's Shearwater flew south past Brevig mid-afternoon and a Sooty Shearwater was also seen.
Marine Sightings: 12 Bottle-nosed Dolphins were seen off the Butt of Lewis this afternoon. 4 Minke Whales, 4 Risso's Dolphins and 4 Harbour Porpoise were off Tiumpan Head this afternoon.
4th August:
North Uist: 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 8 Storm Petrels were seen on the crossing between Uig - Lochmaddy this evening.
Marine Sightings: 22 Bottle-nosed Dolphins moved south off Tiumpan Head late morning.

Marine Sightings: 3 Minke Whales, a mixed pod of Common and White-beaked Dolphins and a pod of 4 Risso's Dolphins with 2 Bottle-nosed Dolphins were seen off Tiumpan Head this morning.
Insects: A Gothic was trapped in South Glendale yesterday.

2nd August:
North Uist: An adult Long-tailed Skua was seen heading south-westwards from the Lochmaddy - Uig ferry around midday.
1st August:
South Uist: An Osprey was seen at Druidibeg.
Marine Sightings: 2 breaching Minke Whales were seen off Tiumpan Head this morning; also an additional Minke Whale, 6 Risso's Dolphins and 2 small pods of Common Dolphins.
