31st January:
Lewis: 4 Glaucous Gulls (a juvenile, 2 x 2nd winter and a 3rd winter) were at the Butt today.
South Uist: 8 Scaup were on the east side of Loch Bee; also a Jack Snipe there.
Marine Sightings: 6 Orcas moved north-west past the Butt (12:00 - 13:00). 100 Common Dolphins were off Port of Ness this morning.
30th January:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull and the Ring-necked Duck were at Loch Tiumpan at 2pm today.
North Uist: 10 Common Scoters were off the west side of Berneray.

29th January:
Lewis: An Iceland Gull was at Port Stoth, Butt of Lewis.
South Uist: 2 Black-tailed Godwits were at Ardvule.
Insects: A Winter Moth came to a bathroom light in Carinish last night.
28th January:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull was at Loch Tiumpan this morning. A Pink-footed Goose is at Shulishader.
North Uist: 2 Glaucous Gulls (an adult and a juvenile) were between Kyles Paible and Rubh' Arnal.
Barra: The Turtle Dove was at Horve today.
27th January:
North Uist: An adult Little Gull was seen off Rushgarry, Berneray. A Coot was on Loch Sandary.
26th January:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull was at Tiumpan Head and the Ring-necked Duck was on Loch Tiumpan.
South Uist: A female Lesser Scaup and a drake Scaup were at the south-west end of Loch Bee; whilst 12 Scaup were on east Loch Bee.

25th January:
Benbecula: 3 Fieldfare were near the war memorial at Grimimish
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew south at Orosay this morning.
Barra: The Green-winged Teal was at Ardmhor.

23rd January:
Barra: The 1st winter Turtle Dove was in Glenn today.
22nd January:
Lewis: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at the Butt.
South Uist: 18 pale-bellied Brent Geese were off Hebridean Jewellery. Around 600 Purple Sandpipers were at Ardivachar.
Insects: A Winter Moth was caught in Carinish last night.
Marine Sightings: 2 Fin Whales and 2 Himpback Whales were off Tiumpan Head.

20th January:
Lewis: 2 adult Iceland Gulls were at Tiumpan Head.
19th January:
Lewis: A 1st winter Little Gull was at Loch Branahuie. The drake Ring-necked Duck was at Loch Tiumpan. An adult Iceland Gull was at Tiumpan Head.
North Uist: 2 adult Glaucous Gulls were between Kyles Paible and Rubh' Arnal.
South Uist: A Little Gull was at Smerclate. 2 Common Redpolls were at Carnan.
Barra: A Green-winged Teal was at Ardmhor.

Lewis: A juvenile Glaucous Gull and 2 Snow Buntings were at the Butt this afternoon.
16th January:
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull was at Fivepenny.
15th January:
Barra: The 1st winter Turtle Dove was at Horve today.
13th January:
Lewis: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at Loch Branahuie at 11:30.
12th January:
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull and 4 Snow Buntings were at the Butt.
11th January:
Barra: The Green-winged Teal was at Ardmhor.
10th January:
Lewis: A juvenile Kumlien's Gull was at Loch Branahuie at 1 pm.
8th January:
Barra: An adult Glaucous Gull was on Traigh Mhor this evening.
7th Janauary:
South Uist: A Fieldfare was in Bornish. 36 Brent Geese were on the South Ford off Hebridean Jewellery.
5th January:
Lewis: 2 Fielfares were on Coll Beaach.
South Uist: A drake Goosander was on the Howmore River and a Chiffchaff was in Howmore.

4th January:
Lewis: A Great Shearwater and a Sooty Shearwater were feeding off Port of Ness with around 500 Gannets early afternoon. A juvenile GLaucous Gull was at the Butt.
South Uist: A Little Egret was at Balgarva.
3rd January:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull flew past the Butt.
Barra: The juvenile Turtle Dove was in Glenn again today. An adult Little Gull was off Eoligarry pier. A Green-winged Teal was at Ardveenish.
2nd January:
Lewis: 8 Snow Buntings were at the Butt.
Barra: The juvenile Turtle Dove was seen in Glenn again today.
1st January: Happy New Year
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull was at Fivepenny. A Siberian Chiffchaff was in Lionel / Adabrock. The drake Ring-necked Duck was on Loch Tiumpan. An adult Iceland Gull was in Stornoway harbour.
North Uist: 5 Fieldfare were in Carinish.
South Uist: 114 Long-tailed Ducks were off Drimsdale.
