31st January:
Lewis: 3 adult Iceland Gulls and an immature Glaucous Gull were at Tiumpan Head this morning.
South Uist: 12 White-fronted Geese were by Loch Hallan. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was seen along the shore at Askernish.
30th January:
North Uist: 6 Glaucous Gulls (4 juveniles and 2 x 2nd winters), 20+ Snow Buntings and 2 Pink-footed Geese were on Baleshare; also 8 Brent Geese were by the cuaseway to the island.
29th January:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull and juvenile Glaucous Gull were at Tiumpan Head this morning. 3 juvenile Glaucous Gulls were seen around the fih farm at West Loch Roag.
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew along the shore at Askernish. 7 Greenland White-fronted Geese were at Loch Hallan.
Barra: The drake Green-winged Teal was showing well at Ardmhor this afternoon.
28th January:
North Uist: A Jack Snipe was at Trumisgarry. A juvenile Greenland White-fronted Goose was amongst the Barnacle Geese on Berneray.
South Uist: A Black-tailed Godwit was at Loch Bornish.

North Uist: 5 Glaucous Gulls (4 juveniles and a 2nd winter) and 35 Snow Buntings were on Baleshare this morning.

Lewis: 2 adult Glaucous Gulls and an adult Iceland Gull were at Tiumpan Head this morning.
North Uist: The pair of Cackling Geese were at Balranald again today. 5 Pintail (4 female and a drake) were on Loch nam Feithean. 4 Glaucous Gulls were seen on Baleshare.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck was at Loch Tangasdale. A drake Green-winged Teal and a juvenile Glaucous Gull were at Ardmhor.
25th January:
North Uist: 2 or 3 Glaucous Gulls were seen on Baleshare today.
24th January:
North Uist: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at Balemore.
Benbecula: A Little Egret was at Coot Loch this afternoon.
23rd January:
North Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on Baleshare. The pair of Cackling Geese were reported from Balranald again today; also 2 Glaucous Gulls and 25 Snow Buntings there.
22nd January:
Lewis: An Iceland Gull was seen at Tiumpan Head.
North Uist: The pair of Cackling Geese were at Balranald this afternoon; the drake Pintail was also at Loch a' Roe. 2 Iceland Gulls (1 adult) and a Glaucous Gull were seen at Rubh' Arnal.
Benbecula: The drake Green-winged Teal was on Coot Loch.
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew south at Frobost. A Juvenile Glaucous Gull and 2 Pintail were on Bornish machair. 7 Scaup were on Loch Bee.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck was at Tangasdale. A Little Auk was seen off-shore at Brevig where there was also 2 Tree Sparrows and a Jack Snipe.

Harris: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on the beach at Huisnuis today.
North Uist: An adult Glaucous Gull was at Loch Grogarry and 90+ Snow Buntings were at Balranald. A juvenile Glauous Gull was at Ardheisker.
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was at Askernish.
20th January:
North Uist: 2 or 3 Glaucous Gulls were seen on Baleshare.
South Uist: 2 juvenile Glaucous Gulls flew along the shore at Askernish.
19th January:
Lewis: A juvenile Iceland Gull was in Stornoway Harbour.
North Uist: 3 juvenile Glaucous Gulls and 2 Snow Buntings were on Baleshare today.
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was at Kildonan.

Lewis: A juvenile Iceland Gull was seen at Steinish this morning.
North Uist: The Snow Goose and 50 Snow Buntings were seen at Balranald today. 3 Glaucous Gulls were at Kyles Paible. A 3 cy Iceland Gull was seen at Clachan a Luib.
Benbecula: A drake Green-winged Teal was on Coot Loch this afternoon and a Little Egret was there in the morning. 45 Brent Geese were een on the North Ford off Gramsdale.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck was at Tangasdale. 16 Snow Buntings were at Eoligarry. 29 Brent Geese were at Traigh Mhor. A Fieldfare was on Vatersay and a young White-fronted Goose was also there.

17th January:
North Uist: At least 3 Glaucous Gulls (2 juveniles and a 2nd winter) were at Rubh' Arnal this afternoon. 4 Glaucous Gulls were seen on Baleshare this afternoon.
South Uist: The drake Green-winged Teal was at the north end of Loch Bee again this morning.
Barra: 2 Glaucous Gulls flew south off Traigh Eais. The Ring-necked Duck is still at Loch Tangasdale.
16th January:
Lewis: 12 Long-tailed Tits were seen in Willowglen, Stornoway.
15th January:
North Uist: 4 Two-barred Crossbills were in Langass Wood today. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on Baleshare.
Marine Sightings: A dead Cuvier's beaked whale was found on the shore at Baleshare today.
14th January:
North Uist: The Snow Goose was at Balemore this afternoon. A Glaucous Gull, Iceland Gull, 3 pale-bellied Brent Geese and the drake Pintail were seen at Balranald.
12th January:
North Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull and 30 Snow Buntings were on Baleshare. The Coot is still at Loch Sandary. The drake Pintail was on Loch a Roe, Balranald.
11th January:
South Uist: A 1st winter / 2nd cal yr Ring-billed Gull was in North Bay (Mol Mor) this afternoon. 5 Scaup were on Loch Bee. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was at Ardivachar. 2 juvenile Glaucous Gulls flew south at Ardvule this morning.
Barra: A Little Auk flew past Tangasdale this morning. The Ring-necked Duck is still on Loch Tangasdale.

North Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on the shore at Baleshare this morning.
9th January:
North Uist: A juvenile Iceland Gull, 26 Brent Geese, 30+ Snow Buntings and a Chiffchaff were at Rubh' Arnal / Balemore. A Lapland Bunting and 2 Snow Buntings were at Knockintorran.
South Uist: The drake Green-winged Teal was at the north end of Loch Bee this morning. A Glaucous Gull flew over Ardivachar this afternoon.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck is still at Tangasdale and 2 Tree Sparrows are at Brevig.

North Uist: The Snow Goose was at Knockintorran today. The drake Pintail was at Loch a Roe and a Fieldfare was at Balranald. A juvenile Iceland Gull and juvenile Glaucous Gull were at Rubh' Arnal / Balemore.
6th January:
North Uist: 16 pale-bellied Brent Geese were at the north end of Baleshare today.
South Uist: 33 Gannets, 24 Red-throated Divers, 19 Great Northern Divers, 1 Razorbill, 2 Black Guillemots, 24 Eiders, 6 Long-tailed Ducks and 1 Red-breasted Merganser flew south at Ardvule this morning.

4th January:
North Uist: The 2 Cackling Geese were seen amongst Barnacles at Balranald today; also a large flock of Snow Buntings and a drake Pintail on Loch a' Roe. The Gyr Falcon was seen on Baleshare this afternoon just before 3 pm at NF782618. An Iceland Gull was seen on Berneray; also a couple of Pink-footed Geese there. 94 Brent Geese were seen on the North Ford.
Benbecula: The Little Egret was still at Coot Loch today; also a drake Pintail there.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck is still on Loch Tangasdale. A Common Scoter was off Ardmhor. 20 Snow Buntings were at Eoligarry.

North Uist: Around 300 Snow Buntings were at Balranald today and a drake Pintail was on Loch a' Roe. 12 Snow Buntings were on Baleshare.
Benbecula: A Little Egret was seen at Coot Loch.
South Uist: 2 Scaup were on Loch Bee. 2 Snow Buntings were seen at Kilaulay.
Barra: The Ring-necked Duck is still on Loch Tangasdale. 2 Tree Sparrows were in Brevig.
